Klangraum Sound therapy in Witzenhausen

Travelling down to the centre of Germany from the woods in stemwede to the cherry orchard town of Witzenhausen, it's burgeoning student community and it's holistic sound therapy centre known as the Klangraum. Where Johannes and Christian pioneer their own wooden sound therapy instruments made by them by hand and to design to give practical sound resonance healings. I tried the monochords 'string sound boxes' and their klangthrone 'a chair with strings resonating on the back'. Staying I their sound tower with shrine and musical instruments was quite an experience. Together I learnt how they made their instruments and also how they practices their therapies 

Thanks to the community of people there and Christian especially for being so welcoming and also for Christian for allowing me to stay in his can in in Schonhagen which literally is a fairy tale cabin. 

Shortly after my stay here I was invited to attend a traditional Indian sedative ceremony and had amazing experiences making music with the team of people I met here.

Applying my geometry knowledge, sound theory knowledge to the love of performance has inspired me to create my own designs and sound therapy techniques. Grateful to the klangraum for their holistic ethos and open attitude. Experiencing the resonance treatment 'klangmassage' was a great experience too..
